Bahi JD

Bahi JD is the nickname for an Austrian animator active in the Japanese animation industry. One of the most famous animators among anime fans, mostly because he is the most successful foreign animator working in the Japanese industry. He does his work digitally using tablet, and is considered among the web-gen. He is a friend not only with other web-gen animators, but with famous old animators as well, such as Mitsuo Iso who helped him in his opening in Atom the Beginning.

His gif animation “Shithead Action” garnered much attention online and served as his stepping stone into the industry¹. Spent a long time doing all his work from Austria. His scenes tend to contain numerous layers that are controlled quite well, and he showed high skill in all different types of scenes from fighting to character animation.
