Kenichi Kutsuna was born in 1982. Nicknamed coosun. The first webgen animator¹.

Started the trend of gif animators on message boards getting noticed by industry professionals and hired for KA without working up the chain through in-betweening¹.

The least flamboyant member of the webgen movement. Kutsuna’s specialty is in loose character animation and amorphous effects animation. Mentored by Satoru Utsunomiya. One of the major fight scene animators for Birdy the Mighty: Decode¹.

Character designer for the Hori-san to Miyamura-kun OVA¹.

Considers Kyoto Animation the best TV anime studio from a technical standpoint¹.
