Nakaya Onsen

Nakaya Onsen(温泉中也) is freelance animator and illustrator. Also credited in hiragana sometimes "おんせんなかや". Uses Flash and he is mainly an excellent character animator and illustrator. He is also very well known for how he draws his voices with his trademark "Onsen chin". His limited-frame style animation is extremely economic and provides enough motion to create flashy and crazy scenes, able to finish cuts quicker and more efficiently than high key-count animators.

He originally started as an illustrator, as he as a late teenager was a part of a circle publishing comics and illustrated novels. He went straight to key animation and 2nd key animation. He sets his own terms¹. Works a lot with A-1 Production.
