Takashi Kojima

Takashi Kojima(小島　崇史) was born in 1986, in Gifu Prefecture. He started at Jungle Gym(じゃんぐるじむ) studio, and now is freelance.

He was first noticed for his Mawaru Penguindrum running scene in episode #20, and his work on Sengoku Collection. Some of the names he usually works with include Masashi Ishihama and Kiyotaka Oshiyama.

Character animator skilled with clothing folds, hair, hand to hand fights, and melodramatic overacting. His drawings are smear heavy and dense with movement. For comedic shots he sometimes draws with uneven, thin penstrokes. Has increasingly incorporated elaborate effects animation into his cuts1. His fighting scenes have great choreography and weight to them.
